George has said that releasing in two volumes harms his writing process and we need to just let him write how he wants to write or he will just stop writing. Be nice to George

Some people suggested releasing one chapter at a time. Like serialising the book. But the thint is George constantly goes back and changes old chapters. Its not possible to serialise the book until its finished.

People misunderstand the writing process. When writing, you don't just write from beginning to end. Hell, you might even write the ending first. Or start in the middle etc. So even now, he's probably still writing some of the earlier chapters, or edit some of his finished chapters.

If he had waited to produce the GoT shows until after he'd finished (and that happens all the time) we might have a first draft of Chapter One. Maybe.

i wish Authors released chapters at a time like they did in the 1800’s and even back in the 1970’s. At least we’d be getting something. even Dune came out in separate parts at first.
