Death, Taxes and Quinn shoehorning Jon Connington into every video he can.

Life’s only certainties

Gregor Clegane not even *appearing* on the Red Cross list of war crimes committed per character is one of the grimmest indictments of the TV show compared to the books that I've ever seen

Nobody has ever committed to a favorite ASOIAF character as hard as Quinn has gone for Jon Connington

Darkstar is the Heisenberg of A Song of Ice and Fire. He is not in danger. He is THE danger!!!

Tyrion for sure ..
And I would be willing to bet good money that Jon Snow is not going to be a happy camper when he gets brought back to life

The idea that Walter White is more evil than the Mountain or Ramsey is just insane. Walt's a bad guy, but objectively he's nowhere near that evil.

The first 8min of monotone solidly baited me for the Joncon reveal. Very cool wooden horse

In terms of a complete character arc, you're right that Tywin is closest to Walter White, because of one key similarity: Ego. For all of Walter's "did it for my family" it's pretty clear he's pursuing his goals to try and reclaim some pride in his life. The key demonstration of this being when he refuses Eliott's offer to cover his medical treatment, mainly because he would find it humiliating to accept such charity. Tywin is very similarly driven, and also similarly all about the family on the surface, except when you drill down into it it's about his personal feelings, in particular the humiliation he absorbed by proxy thanks to his father's weakness. Was ordering the death of Elia and her children a ruthless political act to cement his position in the new order, or was it an act of spite because the Targaryens spurned his marriage offer? Tywin will insist on the former, but as we see in his bedchamber his personal desires play a lot more in his actions than he'd ever admit.

That said I like the idea of JonCon having the most overtly Walt-like arc incited by a terminal diagnosis. The one thing that's missing to make him truly Walt-like is how personal is this for him? It's definitely personal in part, his failure at Stoney Sept cost him a lot, but is that the failure that drives him, or is it his love for Rhaegar? How much is Jon deluded when he says he does these terrible things for his family? The Winds may give a clearer answer, but for the time being I'd hazard those motivations are more sincerely held than Walt's were.

Jon being brought back to life was truly the start of John Snowsenberg.

Wouldn’t be Quinn video without dear old JonCon! Interesting angle & great analysis. I’m one of the few people who haven’t seen Breaking Bad, but enjoyed this nonetheless.

Having Vince actually be a writer, producer and director of A Song of Ice and Fire series would actually revive it so hard. Bring an actual aspect of consistent and thought-out writing and depth that most adaptations are seriously lacking... The question is: who is Bob Odenkirk going to be?

I hope Jon comes back on demon time, and just starts kicking names and taking ass.

No one in Westeros would dare be as evil as Walt because of the ever present fear of STRONG BELWAS

Just like Quinn to turn a seemingly unrelated video into a Jon Con video but I love it 😂
