As an 11 ur old, I’m very lucky to be able to do handstand push-ups, I’ve had gymnastics training for 4 years now, if ur trying to learn this skill, don’t get demotivated, keep pushing.

Perfect timing Brandon! I'm training for my handstand right now. Been doing calisthenics for a little less than a year and I've already unlocked the muscle-up. The next goal is handstand hold for 15+ seconds. Who knows maybe one day I'll master the handstand pushup as well!

Wow. Respect Man, I’ve been training Handstands seriously for about 10 months now and I’ve just hit my first couple of 15s free standing holds. Just want to put things into perspective for those who are not as blessed with progress in that field of calisthenics/ art of balance.

Hey Brandon, way to go. I am also huge fan of Chris Heria and the handstand push up. I followed his progressions and did some of the same things as you but one progression I feel that is often missed is strict form military press. I do this seated with a 90 degree bench using dumbbells and handstand push-ups have gotten way easier. This increased my strength in a way I could not achieve with the push ups alone. I bet you can get to 10 reps if you do this for a bit. Good luck!

Hy man, Great job 💪 ! I just want to remind you that (in the calesthenics world) the HPUSH UP isn’t actually one of the most difficult moves out there (compares to elite class static moves like: Full Planche, maltese, victorian, victorian cross, etc). Continue your great job man ! I love your videos 😁
