Been making this for months. Super easy and hits all the macros I need. I like to add peanut or almond butter to it instead of the nuts.

This is my breakfast for 5 years (i can't get enough of it.):
150g oatmeal,
20g almonds,
1 banana
1 teaspoon of honey,
and enough milk so that it gets a bit liquid. (add water if you want)
(since I am bulking I added the following ingredients, )
2 eggs
100 ml Eggwhite.

I mix all these ingredients in the blender and drink it.

I just ADORE that breakfast, always filling, always delicious, tell me what you think about it

I like to use frozen berries instead of bananas, adding them after mixing in the protein powder. It cools the oatmeal and thaws the berries.

If I were to have a version of this for breakfast and watched my calories, could I still lose weight with all these carbs?

I am not super overweight but I carry all my weight in my mid section and would need to lose about 20 lbs.

This is a good simple recipe for breakfast but super heavy in carbs. I have heard that carbs mean nothing and to just try to eat a ton of protein and find the right amount of calories and if you are not losing weight then simply lower calories.

Ive been making this exact thing for YEARS! but i also add Ghirardelli 70% dark chocolate chips and some non stir organic peanut butter. Its a great post gym snack/meal. 🏋️‍♂️ 💪

I’m that person trying to eat at 1, 800 calories. That’s two servings for me. I added some sugar free chocolate chips and a few raisins because I didn’t have banana or almonds.

when I tried to add little amount of water to help me mix protein with oats, I hit the water tap accidentaly for a maximum pressure.

mix the protein powder on ur shaker first and then toss it in and you will have an easier time mixing

That's a really great recipe. I didn't like the overnight oats because cold and texture. This solves that.
