My oatmeal recipe of choice is fairly simplistic, but it's my favourite breakfast when it's cold outside, or when I just want some simple comfort food.

combine:
100ml of oatflakes
200ml water
1 pinch salt

stir mixture

microwave for 2 min at high effect
meanwhile; mash 1 banana

stir mixture and add mashed banana and cinnamon to taste
add milk

Consume.

Stovetop oats on top, so comforting, apple pie oats is woah. First you chop up some apple (spare a little bit for topping if you wish) and toast them in butter and cinnamon. Then you toast the oats in butter and cinnamon and then mix in milk and maple syrup. Then you cook it all on medium heat to desired consistency. Add nut butter and some apple on top.
