The height of the person working out is key here. The influencer who has made this workout popular (but didn't create it) is only 5"1 which means 3mph is very effective. Personally, I am 5"7 which means I have to increase my speed to see some of the same results. Other things are a factor of course. This is also not a workout I would recommend for a complete beginner. Have a great workout today guys!

I would personally start at 15 minutes and build up to 30 minutes.

I do 10 incline, I’m short and that’s perfect for me. 12 is not the magic number it’s whatever works best for you! ❤

Why is 12% good for insulin resistance? Why not 11? 13? Magic? Who knows!

I have to have mine at 2.2 mph cause im 5'3 and 3mph feels like jogging at that incline 💀

I do 9 incline at 3mph for 38-40 mins. My goal is always to loss 250 calories always then move to weight lifting for 20mins plus

Lauren Giraldo didn't create walking on a treadmill at a speed of3 for 30 minutes. She may have popularized it but I was doing this long before her 🙄

My knees do not like that big incline. And, my heart rate would be through the roof at that speed and incline. What heart rate should we be working out at?

I dont own a treadmill purely because my apartment doesn't have extra space but i do 10k steps a day minimum and like 12k steps on atleast 3 days a week.
Is that enough?

I started the 12/3/30 and my little fat behind was out of breath in less than 5 min 😂😂😂😂😂 I was sweating like crazy . Honestly I struggle to make it to 15 but it better than nothing. I’m going to keep working on it until I can make it to 30min. This is no easy task if you are overweight 😊

I’m also 5’0 maybe my height have something to do with it
