There's no harm in doing cardio or running if you are eating more calories than you expand
Your muscle mass and health will improve by doing running or cardio in alternate days and you are eating in calorie surplus and working out 5 to 6 times a week taking 1 or 2 days rest and sleeping 7 hours daily
