This video does a really bad job at summarizing the passes so I'm going to list some key points:

- Ascension passes cost 450 diamonds + 450 legacy gems.
- You can earn 225 diamonds WITHOUT buying the ascension pass for each character, you obtain 225 more by purchasing it.
- Because of the above point, you can complete one ascension pass, then buy another COMPLETELY FOR FREE (assuming you have the legacy gems to do so). As long as you earn 450 diamonds at bare minimum you don't need to spend any money whatsoever.

Unrelated: Daily logins will also net you 100 diamonds a week

Multiple closed alphas, early access for founders pass buyers, slowly re-releasing old gods, multiple ways to spend money, but the game isn't even beta yet, let alone released?
I was willing to hear ya'll out. I've been patient, and I've been trying to convince my friends to stick with it, I even came to terms with losing all the skins I paid for, but ya'll keeping twisting the blade Hi-Rez.
It's clear to me ya'll aren't the Hi-Rez I used to know. Ya'll can keep the money I wasted on Smite, and I hope ya'll choke on it.
