How do you CREATE a check book register? Everyone shows how to print it

Don't know how I missed this for a year, but QB for Mac 2013 has substantially caught up with the PC version. It is very good.

I just finished putting in all of 2012 in my register and just realized, from February until Dec. Everything has the year as 2013.Is there an easy way to change 2013 to 2012 without doing one at a time?

You can't create this report in QuickBooks. You can either run it to an excel sheet or simply print it to a PDF.

@andreaswiedow There is a QuickBooks for MAC now and it's actually gotten pretty good in the recent upgrades!

Oy! Sorry buddy. If this represents ALL of the activity in the whole QB file (ie this is a new company) then you could export it, set up a new company file, change the year from 2013 to 2012 (easy to do in excel) and then import it all using Transaction Pro Importer.

I want to know if Quickbooks can give me a Check register for the bills (AP) I just paid. In most other accounting packages you print 100 cks you can get a list of the vendor, the invoices paid, the date and the amount. At the bottom of the register, a total of all the checks will appear. Can Q/B do this? I have to use this software and it is so confusing to me.

I like your register report.  On a register report, is there a way to show complete memos instead of just what is typed on the check itself?  I'm referring to the attached memos associated with the different accounts that may be used when you write a check.
