I understand the message but countless mighty men of God/husbands like Boaz, King Ahaseurse, Isaac were in positions to provide for their bride. Men are to be the head of the household, that is a covering including physical covering. I dont entirely agree that they have no role as the head but I could understand that its certainly not grounds for divorce as the modern women believe and God can choose whomever between husband or wife to bless with finances.

Men are called to be the head of the household. This includes ensuring needed(emphasis on need) resources are available. This is especially helpful during times when the woman is somewhat incapacitated during child rearing. It is precisley his role as provider that helps him discover his need for God. He then leads by being the first to declare his dependence on God and first to give thanks to God for the fruits of his labor...this aint hard folks but i guess we gotta say something unusual to build these platforms outchea...
