Once thought to exist purely in the realms of science fiction, the creation of a Super Intelligence is becoming more and more likely every day and, should it come to pass, would be the single biggest threat to humanity that has ever existed. From the creators of Beyond The Edge and McLaren and narrated by Keir Dullea (2001: A Space Odyssey) this exciting and necessary documentary explores what an AI future could look like and who might control it. Featuring interviews with the world's leading authorities on AI including filmmaker James Cameron, world-renowned physicist Professor Max Tegmark, and neuroscientist and philosopher Dr Sam Harris, as they explore why we need to talk about AI…before it's too late.

Creating Ai is sure a more elegant way to kill off humanity than just us doing it.

They forgot to mention:

The Three Laws

Asimov's suggested laws were devised to protect humans from interactions with robots. ... A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. Mar 17, 2017

Seriously doubt, that AI will match the human brain anytime soon or ever, really, just remain a more helpful machine.

What about better emergency brakes, that turn on when a car is above speed limit. Front and back bumpers that create a safety thing. Someone can surely come up with a solution one day.

There is already great life saving airbag design, it saved my mom, not just one, but many, specific ones that protected her, so she came out of it wit a minor on her hip bone. My dad was in the safer side of the car, only minor scratches.

Ethical decisions. Human level intelligence. Clearly these people don’t know the same people I know.

Humanity made be pushed to the side, largely, but you’ll still have those 10 people who are by that time Trillionaires

Does Humanity have Intelligence? How High? How Low?

Tools aren’t intelligent.

But if they were superior in every way, they would have to be morally superior.

From a Christ centred and biblical perspective, it makes me think that without God’s breath of life, it will be only a pale imitation/reflection of His Creativity.

But it will be a interesting toy, because ultimately humanity always does that. Many things of life, like slavery, it becomes like a toy to humans, who keep seeking easy and fun.

Except there are always humans paving the way by their hard work to make it easy for the others.

Nothing new under the sun. Prefer Revelation 21-22.

humans did not create Ai. It's actually vice versa.
