I’m not surprised about Mazda. We had a 2012 Mazda 3 with 212, 000 miles and only had one issue. The lights would go dim when you hit the brakes but a quick reprogram of the computer fixed the alternator issue. Changed brakes, tires and oil. Bought a new 2021 Mazda 3 and gave the 2012 to our daughter, which she is still driving with no issues.
