I'm a dealer so I see the wholesale prices day by day. All those prices are salvage title or down payments. They all sell for more than listed here at dealer auctions. Trust me, I'm there watching them roll by.

I have a 2007 Accord V6 fully loaded and it’s fun to drive and I drove it from Maryland to New York with no issues and on one tank I highly recommend buying one

Scotty would love this list until you put the Xterra, Elantra and focus 😂

Miata is always… but I don’t think you can find decent Miata with less than 150k miles for $5k anymore (maybe auto).

My dad's first Avalon went 330k miles without costing him anything more than basic maintenance. His current Avalon is pushing 400k miles and still hasn't cost him much at all to own. It's not fun to drive, at all, but if you want miles for cheap, I'd recommend it highly.

0:54 2003-2008 is actually more reliable. But if you must go for this generation, I'd suggest 2011 or newer. Quality went up over 2009 and 2010, and the few issues they had (mainly water pump failures) were resolved.

I don't know why it's rarely included, but what about the early 2000s model of the panther car. IE Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis/Marauder, Lincoln Town Car? All were great cars with essentially mustang engines and actually get decent fuel mileage. Thanks for the video though!

Where I live even the civics and corollas over 300K miles go for nearly 8 grand sadly. Also be careful what civic you pick, maybe I was just unlucky but I managed to blow 2 d17a1 engines in a 2003 civic lx in just under two years, even with proper maintenance.

PLEASE stop recycling these same list videos. Get some new fresh ideas or better yet I would rather see ONE really well thought-out video once a week, every two weeks or even once a month rather than a recycled list video every day. Quality OVER quantity.

I have a 2007 Toyota Avalon, gave it to my mom, one of the best cars I've ever had (made in Japan, $9000 bucks used), soft ride, 260HP V6 that gets 30mpg high way, Timing Chain, ROOMIEST CAR I've been in. Paint Quality is TOP NOTCH, 10x better than Honda Civic Paint, It's like Candy Coated like an M&M paint, it's nice....It survived me driving it 200 miles home on a blown radiator on H (my fault I should have had it towed), radiator fixed, runs like a champ still to this day and my mom drives it and her dogs around.

Targeting a car by generations or years is helpful. I try to get the latest version in the group to get improvements made by the mfr.

Everyone talks bad about the MK7 fiesta but tbh I've got one and it's a good bit of fun and I'm averaging high 30's to the gallon even though I'm riding at 80mph most times
