I fully endorse the choice of Toyota Corolla as a reliable car! We have a 2003 Corolla - for 22 years, all we spent on repairs was rear wheel bearings twice, and the replacing of one starter motor, and the replacement of 2 front struts. Now it still purrs along the city and freeway smoothly like it is new. Even the interior is fully intact. Easy maintenance in oil change, replace brake rotors and pads, and top up of fluids. The newer ones are fantastic cars that are economical and reliable! Thank you Toyota for delivering to the consumers world class cars!

Toyota yes, mazda yes, subaru oh no no no not even close I have had three and all three had engine coolant and head problems and these are the same engines they are still selling they just doctor it up enough to get you out of warranty then you are stuck replacing your engine. Never again. I own a toyota now with 234000miles snd zero problems.
