High blood sugar can destroy your organs.

High blood sugar can destroy your organs. I explain how.

It’s called glucotoxicity. Glucotoxicity causes a massive oxidation effect, which is like rusting inside your body. It can happen in your arteries, brain, or nerves. Your body starts to heal it with proteins, calcium, and cholesterol that form plaques. That’s the body’s equivalent of a bandaid.

(By the way, diabetics that consume antioxidants from real food can lower the effects of glucotoxicity.)

Then you have glycation, caused when glucose and protein are combined then heated, such as with barbequed ribs that you then eat. This can cause some proteins in your body to become unusable and cause damage anywhere within your body.

These are the four main sets of organs at risk from high blood sugar:
●Kidney: sugar destroys kidneys, and you can end up on dialysis.
●Eyes: sugar damages the blood vessels at the back of your eyes that feed the retina, which is an extension of your brain. It also affects the pressure, causing glaucoma, and the lens, causing cataracts.
●Vascular: sugar causes your blood vessels to get stiff and develop oxidation, resulting in plaques, clots, and potentially a stroke
●Nerves/brain: sugar affects the blood vessels that feed your nerves, resulting in peripheral neuropathy. The remedy for this is vitamin B1 (benfotiamine). Vitamin B1 is an antioxidant. The vascular system that goes to the brain gets damaged, leading to what’s called diabetes type 3. Then there goes your memory and your ability to learn.

You don’t just wake up one day and suddenly have diabetes. You have prediabetes before that. Your fasting blood sugar is usually between 100-125. A level of 126 or greater on two different tests results in a diagnosis of diabetes. Then you take medication, which basically crams it from your blood into other places in your body. The sugar doesn’t magically go away.

Before prediabetes you have high insulin (hyperinsulinemia). Almost no one gets their fasting insulin tested, which is a mistake. Check the link below for more information.

A high carbohydrate diet triggers high insulin, and you’ll have the same health problems with high insulin as with high blood sugar. The medical profession doesn’t want to acknowledge the link between high carb diets and high insulin.

Go on keto and intermittent fasting. Lower your high blood sugar as well as your insulin.

Around 7:39 you can really feel how much Dr. Berg cares because he gets frustrated talking about how mislesding and useless the main stream medical community is when it comes to preventing Type 2.

Back when I was pre-diabetic, my doctor sent me to a dietician. She gave me a booklet outlining an eating plan for diabetics (I guess she assumed it was only a matter of time before I became a full-blown diabetic). The eating plan said that I could have up to 40g of carbohydrates PER MEAL (120g total per day)!
Thank God I had already begun watching your videos and I knew that was incorrect.
I feel so bad for the millions of ppl who are truly trying to change their eating habits, but keep being fed the wrong information.

Awesome. Again. Thanks for the life saving information. You helped me take a fasting glucose of 352 and an A1c of 14.2 to a glucose of 87 and an A1c of 6.2 in less than 90 days. My MD kept repeating, " That's unheard of". I disagree. Sound advice and determination to change what you can will make this a common event for many. To the reader: If you are in trouble, it's ok to disagree with your doctor. Dr Bergs advice and recommendations will work. NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS BEING HEALTHY FEELS.

Knowledge is power. The more I learned about the damaging effects of sugar and simple carbs, the easier it was to ban them from my diet.

This video was awesome! Look at all the people on diabetes medication. Next thing you know, they’re hands are shaking and they’re getting the arteries in the legs cleared out. Next comes Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, etc. Kidneys and eyes take a huge hit. Dear God, these people can be helped and I don’t believe how simple this can happen. I was diabetic. Went low carb and reversed everything. Forever grateful for your videos.

Dr. Berg This should be taught in schools, family planning centres and last of all Medical food should be held responsible in part for this travesty.

Before all other class 3 type drugs, is sugar. The truth is the more sugar you eat the less sensitive your taste buds are to it. If you rarely or never eat sugar, the sweetness of all other foods is very intense. You enjoy real food much, much more.

For anyone who’s watching this and wondering if this is the right channel or if this is the correct information I can tell you, with great certainty it’s all fact - even if it’s uncomfortable. My husband was a diabetic. During the pandemic he lost his eyesight to glaucoma and cataracts. His liver was in bad shape. Our GP was doing all he could to help us but it was very difficult to find available specialists my husband needed due to the pandemic. He had surgery to fix his eyes but they were still swollen from the diabetes. He had lost a lot of weight and was taking care of himself. He was off all diabetic medicine, but he still liver issues and had to wait nearly 10 months to see the specialist. 2 weeks after his eye surgery, and 2 weeks before he could finally visit the liver specialist, he collapsed on Christmas morning and died. I was told by the doctors that while his heart was good, it had just stopped and it was too late to revive him. They said it often happened to diabetics, even when their hearts are in good shape. There was no warning, and he was gone from us in an instant.
Watching this video made me cry. If we had seen it at the beginning of the pandemic, it might have saved him. Normally, I am a very private person. I don’t put my personal life on social media. However, if you’re on the fence about trusting this channel, please know you are in the right place. If my story helps you to helps yourself then my embarrassment is worth the telling.
Take the information here and use it. Best of luck to you.

We need more honest doctors like Dr. Berg. My doctor keeps making me do blood work and says I’m fine. It’s all about the money instead of our health. I had to figure it out myself. Thanks Dr. Berg

High bloodpressure (hypertension) is a slow killer. It damages your vessels day, by day. So make sure to relax, don't stress too much, and take good care of your body. This will lower your bloodpressure! 👍

I have to say since I have been on keto and intermittent fasting I have been watching my body heal. I don’t pee all night anymore, my blood pressure is better, no more anxiety, my face is cleared up, the atrophy in my butt and quads are healing, my vision is better, I have lost weight gained muscle through working out, I am able to think more clearly, no symptoms of menopause, when I was eating sugar I got angry quicker, peed all night long raging hormones ringing ears sleepless nights the list goes on and on. I take vitamins along with the cleanest diet I have ever eaten and feel so much better. Thank you Dr. Berg for teaching me how to love myself enough to stop eating poisons. ❤️❤️❤️

Dr. Berg thank you so much and I also wish I could attend your conference. Before keto I was diagnosed with having prediabetes. I was heading down this same path and would have probably been full blown diabetic in another 5 yrs or so. I did research to change my eating habits and my life. I've personally seen how this disease progresses with someone close to me having his foot amputated. Do I want to start having my limps cut off piece by piece: NO! All the research I've come across people kept testifying how their prediabetes was reversed. I wanted that too. I lived on a carb-filled diet forever and was 100 lbs overweight. I was on blood pressure meds, asthma maintenance meds and my mobility was declining due to the added weight. Yeah, I also read the cons for not doing keto, but I didn't listen to that and decided to try it. It was the best move I've ever made. My blood pressure is more regulated, asthma maintenance meds gone, no more mobility issues, dropped 100 lbs, no more prediabetic and energy though the roof. Keto saved my life thanks to videos like yours and others.
