John Piper's Son MOCKS BIBLE as an Atheist

Popular Pastor John Piper's son has a large following on Tic Tok (currently 750k subs), where he also makes fun of the Bible. Here is my response to one of his recent videos called "The Bible says having kids is a bad idea" where he draws from the book of Ecclesiastes in order to make his point.

When I was 12 I started going to church by myself. My single mom was out clubbing all the time, no dad in the picture. And when I got to church, I saw all these kids with loving Christian parents and wished I had that. But the kids didn't like me because I wanted God so much. They rolled their eyes at me and gossipped about me. Then I was grateful for my upbringing. I've met Christians that made me never want to step foot into a church ever again. But I know what's on the other side and I'll deal with some lukewarm Christians at church any day. I am nothing without God. Praise Jesus, my King!!

It's really no surprise.
Pastor's kids are usually one of the two extremes: really devout or really rebellious.

Man this video is so necessary. I’m blown away how poorly thought out his arguments are. How silly his understanding of God’s “literal word” is, completely ignoring type of literature, allegory, poetry, prophetic, all making up a collection of books and letters known as the Bible. this comes off almost intentionally deceptive. My dad was a Pastor. I had my rebellious years. I hated God. But his mercy was greater than my hate for him. As I got older the biblical lessons my parents taught me as a kid began to bear fruit. I’ll be praying for him because I know what it’s like to be him.

My sister also was away from God but no longer. My brother still is away from God; he’s done some really bad stuff.

I grew up being taught a twisted Christian lifestyle. I went into a similar smiling-mad aetheists' phase. Praise God he had grace to draw me to him anyway.

Honestly it seems more like attacks toward his Dad. He has issues with his father so he is lashing out at him by bashing the Bible which is his dad’s profession

If you don't believe, you don't believe. I am confident that he has allowed himself to become so bitter that he now feels he needs to speak against the scriptures. Pride is an issue here. If we humble ourselves and seek truth, God will allow us to find it.

As a 67 y.o. man one of the hardest things to go through in my life is that my sons were not saved. My oldest finally asked Jesus Christ to be his savior when he was 40 years old. My youngest (38) is still in rebellion. Pray for Abraham Piper. He is walking in rebellion. But he IS walking. It is not too late for him. Pray that Jesus will arrest him and put him back on the path to Him! Thank you for this video!

Salvation is an individual affair so if your father is a pastor doesn't mean u will follow your father's suit.

As a pastor’s kid from a very strict, legalistic upbringing, I did go through a phase of doubt. I wanted to be an atheist because of church hurt. I couldn’t believe followers of a loving God were horrible! Thankfully, here I am, still following Jesus. My heart breaks for him, his dad and family. But the prayers of the righteous are powerful! Don’t give up on him guys !
