Council Tax is a debt that does not go away . The council didn't send me a bill for 7 years, then I got one for £7.000 ! They said I should have asked them to send me bills, the onus was on me . Don't you just love this country ? 😡

Please believe every word of this advice. I know from my own previous circumstances of honest poverty, that not paying council tax leads to all sorts of misery. Fortunately my local authority helped me to overcome certain issues - they were positive and sensitive to my mental health needs. I'm now completely debt-free but only because I was able to work through the problem. Don't ignore council tax!

Who gives the council authority to form a court ? As we are mostly aware now, if you ring the court to ask about the summons they tell you that the council send out their own summons and liability orders. It has NOTHING to do with the court. If the only two entities in the country that can form a court are the Queen and Parliament, how is it that the Clerk of the court is the one to authorise council tax courts? They hire a room in the Court and hire a Magistrate for the proceedings, who then proceed to rubber stamp bulk summonses. That is fraud ! It is an Administrative court and according to Halesbury Law, has no bearing under English Law. Riddle me that one Mr Barrister. You might also want to go on and explain what the 12 assumptions of a Roman Court are if you dare.

Can you please do a elaborate series on different courts and appeals system, and hierarchy systems of courts, Queen's council, bench, etc all things courts and tribunals etc ?

Literally just seen a video, recommended to me by YouTube, from a cabbie claiming that if you write to the council citing section 13A you can get your council tax written off. I just commented with a link to the relevant legislation, showing section 13A is nothing to do with what he claimed.

I don't pay council tax but I do pay a boat licence, it is still far cheaper though.

I've always told my kids two things you have to pay as regular as clockwork, your mortgage/rent and council tax, pay these and you'll always have a roof over your head, and as long as you've got a roof over your head you can cope with just about anything, anybody telling you any different is an idiot
