No letters through the door but got a txt message saying we owe £430 but do t know what the debt is for niw today i got another message saying there anpr car is in the area. No one has knocked on the door

Dartford crossing charge I missed. How do they justify adding fees to explode the cost from a £5 debt to your entire car. It’s a complete con.

Not particularly good advice. If they have a Controlled Goods Agreement (CGA) and you have defaulted on it, they can get a locksmith to gain entry BUT you can still prevent this by putting a bolt on every door. Remember they can NOT force their way in, so even if they get the door unlocked they will still be unable to gain entry.

Hoewever, you have no legal obligation to sign a CGA so you should NEVER do so. In fact you have no legal obligation to even speak to them. you're better off not doing so; they will then pass the debt back to the council - they have no option to do anything else. They can only charge you once, not for repeated visits and there is a limit to how much they can charge. You can also refuse to deal with the bailiff as I did, you have no legal obligation to do so as the money is owed to the council, not the bailiff, when the action is taken for council tax arrears. Just tell them to go away and shut the door if you happen to open it and find a bailiff stood there. Pay the council, even just a small amount and they won't do anything else if you can't afford to pay them any more because it's not going to get them anywhere, it makes no sense for them to try to take any further action of you are already paying as much as you can reasonably afford. But NEVER EVER deal with the bailiff.

You are assuming that the debt is genuinely owed. If it isn't, you can dispute the debt. That should stop CDER action, but it doesn't. CDER Group ignore FCA guidelines...

How do they get involved in the first place? I've been dealing with them for a year now because someone used my name on his car and is driving around London collecting fines. CDER group with no other information but the name, decided that I'm the person and since then, I was able to close 2 cases for congestion charges but every time the same vehicle collects a ticket, they are back harassing me.
