INGREDIENTS:

CASHEWS MAYONNAISE:

1 cup of raw cashew nuts, soaked in water for at least 6 hours
1/2 cup filtered water
1 lemon juice
2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of powdered onion
1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon of salt

TOFU MAYONNAISE:

400 grams of medium-firm tofu
⅓ cup of olive oil or water
½ cup of parsley
juice of 1 large lemon
1 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of onion powder

AVOCADO MAYONNAISE:

1 large avocado (6.34 ounces, peeled and pitted)
½ lemon juice
1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
¼ teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
¼ teaspoon of onion powder
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

I made the cashew mayonnaise flavored it caramelized cut fresh onion, cut fresh garlic, grated ginger, grated galangal, cut curry leaves. It had a Asian flavor. I kind of liked it. thanks Jana for ideas.

Jana; I love your channel. My introduction to Brazilian food was Fogo De Chao. I was a property manager for a building in DC that had Fogo de Chao as a tenant. At the time I was not a vegan but when I became a vegan I loved the salad bar. It was wonderful. Fogo de Chao was such a lovely culture and I loved them for that. It was the best. I forgot to buy olive oil and I didn't have mayonnaise, so I tried the avocado sauce, and you know what? it's delicious! I'm not going to buy mayonnaise anymore, I'm going to use these sauces but I'm going to put olive oil anyway because it should give a better texture and olive oil is good for your health. Thank you for sharing this, tofu Mayo is a staple in my house, I usually just use lemon juice and black salt (for an eggy flavour), your variation with herbs looks tasty, I will try!

Oh my goddd all of these look so good! I struggle finding vegan alternatives for sour cream and mayo that aren't super expensive for a tiny amount so these are life savers! No more dry sandwiches or burgers lol
