Healthy Mayonnaise

Today I'm going to show you how to make healthy mayonnaise substitute.

This greek yogurt mayonnaise makes a light and delicious mayo substitute you can use in many different mayo based recipes.

HEALTHY MAYONNAISE RECIPE
(makes 1 container)
Ingredients:
1.5 cups Greek yogurt (375g)
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp mustard
1 tsp honey
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp chili paste

NUTRITIONAL INFO (per container):
459 calories, fat 23.5g, carb 23.3g, protein 39.5g

Preparation:
In a bowl add and whisk all these ingredients well.

Use this mayo substitute in 1-to-1 ratio, just like any other mayonnaise.

Great for making potato salad, deviled eggs, tuna sandwiches and much more.

I made this and it was tasty, but it didn’t give me the same mouthfeel as regular Mayo, and in certain applications I think I would be missing that. However, I added a touch of honey, a little extra oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley, and it made a fantastic ranch dressing. I tasted it side by side with some store bought ranch and the version made from this recipe knocked it out of the park

This is a great substitute for mayo...I made it this morning and added some extra onion & garlic powder and salt and pepper...plus 1 Tbsp zero point agave sweetener...it came out delish! THANK YOU FOR THIS RECIPE!

You had me at Greek Yogurt. I've been making my own salad dressings and while I love mayo it always makes the salad dressings ... too heavy? So I started subbing greek yogurt and lemon juice with seasonings. So .. yeah.

Home made mayo is VERY easy to make also my mom used to mix mayo and yoghurt so it becomes lighter but still has the good taste

My mom uses corn starch in water with lemon juice and fresh garlic and it's every bit as good as real Garlic mayo and much less calories. But this seems good too.Thanks for recepie

I've never liked mayo and started using greek yogurt many years ago as a substitute for almost any cream base, sweet or savory. Happy to see others doing the same! Greek yogurt is so good. 😎

Honestly I've found that in most recipes that call for mayo, I can swap Greek yogurt 1:1 and it's totally fine! (But your sauce sounds really delicious too!)

I use homemade yoghurt as a base for a lot of things, you can even mix a little garlic, lemon juice, homemade hummus for varying flavours.

Tried it. Add some dill and pickled cucumbers and you have original taste of tartar sauce. Add garlic and fresh cucumber and there's tzatziki. Great recipe! Bravo, Saša!

I added some garlic to this. Then I mashed up some leftover cold cooked salmon, 1/2 an avocado and 2 teaspoons of the dressing. TDF! Served on homemade seed bread. Made without flour and sugar.

The problem of mayonnaise is not the calories, but that it made mostly of vegetable oils that are considered ultra processed food. Thanks for the recipe.
