Man, i enjoyed your video! It was a serious dedication to train yourself to participate in your first 15k in less than five weeks. It motivates me. Im a beginner runner too and i currently preparing my first Half Marathon race for five weeks, and it's three weeks in, two weeks to go and i lost my motivation. But your video make me want to train again tomorrow. I train four to six days a week and trying to mix my training. I explored zone 2 running (and i think you can try it too!), interval run, and sometimes i do long run (10km to 19km). I think run is actually fun, just like what you said. But i know not every run is fun. And the hardest part of running is to start it. Hope you'll keep running and inspire beginner runners just like me. Cheers from Indonesia!

I'm running my first 5k at the weekend. I'm also eyeing a 15k in 3weeks. I'm consistent and run my own pace. I started running 3 x week for 3 months to get ready for this 5k. I'm not a long distance runner either.

5:27 pace as a first run is crazy fast

I think you're running to fast as a beginner in this video. Try slowing down to 6'30 to 8min per km pace for your running to be sustainable, at 6'30 you're probably have a heart rate at around 155 to 160, but still it depends on the persons activity level, it's not too tiring but at that pace you'll probably gonna need more rest period. At 8 min per km pace however, it is not too stressful and it is more sustainable if your want to run for longer periods.

Just ran 15K today for the first time. 1hr 40 min

I did it in 2 days... The first day it took me 26 mins and 26 seconds
The second day it took me 23 mins and 37 seconds. Now all my body is sore😂
