Recently our first campout of the season, at a nice park in Ontario, Canada. A couple at a nearby site talked to each other constantly, in loud voices. It was the ‘thinking out loud’ type of thing! They looked like decent people, about seventy, don’t think hearing problem was an issue but loud voices. Then on the weekend, lo and behold their family and Grandkids visited! Even more loud voices. Willing to put up with some racket but we like to hear the birds, the nearby lake and enjoy the quiet of camping. Not sure why people can’t just be thoughtful of others in nearby sites.

I hate being next to people that smoke weed or cigarettes constantly. It ruins it completely!!

I’ve been in many state campgrounds where the camp host has the worst looking campsite and rig

All these are the reasons we cannot give up our home to travel full-time. We know what we have to deal with in our sticks and bricks. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side! 😊

Huge flags on lighted flag poles! RVs lit up like Fort Knox all night long! No common courtesy for others in a campground. Been camping for 50 years and the last 5 have made me want to hang it up.

People that let their dogs run loose instead of in a pen or on a 6’ leash.

You mentioned things to do to combat these problems, where will I find that? I plan on hopefully renting an RV, or several different types, before I purchase. Thank you. ♥️

I’ve been a State Park camp host for going on 7 years. I’ve seen a lot! Fortunately, we can call a Ranger when there is a real issue. Also fortunately, I have found the majority of folks are pretty good. 🙂 PS….if you have an outside tv on your rig, just don’t use it unless you are off in a corner by yourself 😏.

Thanks for telling me, a prospective newbie, what I must do to be a Good Neighbor! Most is common sense, the same as owning a home, but with a smaller space, one has to Really adhere to the Rules! 👍💯👏

Great video you guys. Being the morality Police and "Offensive" gauge for the US you have accomplished it. That is why you bought a camp site in TN developed it, and sold it. You got to know the people around you and left. There are always bad behaving people in the woods or at the camp ground. It is sad but the moral compass of this county is in the dumpster and the ugliness of people towards each other is at an all time high. Say hi to Bo.

Yep. Have been and have been on the receiving end.

A red flag for me was when I pulled up to my site and the camper next door had 3 cases of beer sitting next to their steps and big trash cans overflowing with empties 😱. True story! They did end up being amazingly quiet, though 👍

RV camping has become so unattractive. Good sites are hard to get. I like camping but am not willing to pay 100k plus for an RV to strulle to get in. I have a truck with a bed tent that was cheap ($250). I can camp when I want but use a hotel for a bot more than than the campsite. I am not dissing the RV lifestyle. I wanted to get in, but I realized there is no advantage to it anymore. People have ruined it. I was going to pay 150k for a great B Van but realized that I can vacation in nice hotels 3 weeks a year for 10 yrs. just for the initial cost of the van. This is ridiculous to have to stay in crowded camp sites. I will camp with my bed tent when I want to because I love sleeping out in the outdoors.
I am not dissing the RV lifestyle, I wanted to get in, but nothing seems to be relaxing about it.

I don’t care for anyone who smokes cigarettes next to my site!
