The grass is so green in the midwest cuz is wet and very fertile. You should go to eastern nebraska or south dakota in apring!!!

Don't worry Millie, the places that look so cold get boiling hot in the summer. You might have to put up with -25°C in the winter, but it'll make up for it with 40°C in the summer.

Born and raised in Minnesota, and I would never move. I love it here. The winters can suck but it is what you make of it. Prince, when asked by Oprah why he loves Minnesota so much said, “ it’s so cold it keeps the bad people out.”

Those pictures from South Dakota were probably taken in the Spring, where it's usually really green after the melt/runoff. Also, color correction.

The Green Bay Packers have general admission tickets. The wait list is for season tickets. The last I heard, the wait list was 30+ years, but that was some years ago, so theoretically it could be 140 years. And yes, there are families that leave their spot on the waiting list to their heirs.

Grew up in New Jersey. It's great. State property taxes are pretty high but you're right next to New York City and Philadelphia for sports and entertainment. Then we have awesome beaches (warmer water than California), Six Flags Great Adventure and Atlantic City. There's skiing in the northern part of the State and tons of camping from the Delaware Water Gap to the Pine Barrens. Live in Colorado now. It's stunningly beautiful. The weather is great. Bought my house before the housing prices skyrocketed, so I actually count that as a good thing. Lived in Omaha, Nebraska. It's not for me. Keep in mind, U.S. winters are cold for three months and summers can be painful. Minnesota and the Dakotas are unreasonably cold. Everything from Florida to parts of Southern California is 100 F/33.37 C average for 4-5 months.

Pictures of South Dakota are generally taken in the spring. That grass goes from very very green in the spring to all brown through the entire summer. SD grass is dead most of the year. You can easily tell which states are green through the summer from the sky. If the fields are rectangular they have water all summer. If they are round they need supplemental water through the dry months.

You hit on the key factor . Most of the best states on this list are COLD . For you, living in the Channel Isles , winters in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado,Utah,New Hampshire, New Jersey, or Massachusetts would be a cold and snowy experience way beyond what you know .

I've lived in California, Idaho and currently in is the home of my heart. Most states have beautiful mountains and waterfalls and green open pastures but there is something that touches your spirit and you'll know when it happens.

Green grass is the norm. Different areas have different types of grass, but pretty much all is nice and green. Growing up in New England, our grass wasn't naturally as green, so many people put in sod. Here in coastal North Carolina, where I've lived for awhile now, the grass just stays green unless it's Dec-Feb. I think it really just depends on the area. Oh, and yes, you can dye your grass with vegetable dye. There are companies that do this!!

I live in Utah. I love it here, but the cost of housing is going up. Utah has beautiful and diverse landscapes.

This guy doesn't mention the brutal winters from all these states on the list. Give me the Southern US any day! Warm all year around, no snow, slower lifestyle and fantastic food!
Ps There's no homelessness in Minnesota because they would all freeze to death.

Sometimes I hate living in what is known as a flyover state . I guess it makes living here more affordable. And we have some very lovely small towns as well as wonderful rural areas. maybe it is good we remain a secret.

Since I was born on Galveston Island, I never developed a liking for frigid weather. I live in south-central Texas now, which does have some stretches of freezing weather, but nothing like the northern states. We have hot summers, but that is why our houses have air conditioning. ❤

In Utah you have alpine forest and barren desert within a day's drive. Though presently the rapid growth coupled with the ongoing drought has led to a LOT of problems with lack of water.

About the color of the ocean--It is true in the maps, but generally also true in real life.

California grass is generally golden brown in open fields or hills so that’s what I’m accustomed to. Been to the Carolina’s and it was all super green.

With a waiting list of over 130, 000 people, Packers season tickets are reserved for the elite fans who come from generations of Packers fandom. Thanks to this waiting list and the die-hard fans that accompany it, Lambeau Field has been sold out for every Packers game since 1960.

Season tickets are probably transferable, so they could be passed down with a person’s estate, by will, trust, or if the person has no will or trust when he/she dies, by the State’s intestacy laws (which apply when someone dies with no will or trust).
