It is so funny that you have Daryl Brooks on here. I watch all of this trial live. Brooks was his own worst enemy. The judge was a Saint with everything she had to put up with from Brooks.

One of the things that most people understand, and lawyers definitely do (or should) is: "Don't piss off a judge. No, don't do it. It never works out well for you."

People often say the United states justice system is too severe, but all these people absolutely should never get out.

These defendants showed their true colors while at trial. The good thing about this is they, hopefully, will never see the outside of their cells and therefore never be able to hurt anyone else (hopefully fellow convicts will know to stay away from them).

The problem with life terms is that they are often not life terms. They often get out early. I think of life terms as 20 years, not life. It's an arbitrary thing.

Almost all of these people are gonna get life sentences and they know it, the judge knows it, the whole court knows it. Looking a murderer with nothing to lose in the eye and insulting them in any way without anticipating some sort of reaction is smooth brain thinking.
