Could you please let me know if you can voice search within the YouTube app on the amazon firestick or roku streaming stick? I want the option to just speak my search on the YouTube app rather than manually typing in each letter if that makes sense? (Basically what you can do using Apple t.v. remote)

Oh my heck, SO grateful I found this video! I was pulling my hair out looking at different brand Blu Ray player's and NONE of them have the YouTube TV App!! I have a 12 year old 65" Pioneer Projection TV that just refuses to die, and I have gotten so attached to it, I love it!! And yes, Cable TV has gotten ridiculously over-priced so I went with YouTube TV! I also have an XBOX 360 which obviously also does not offer the App, it's too old.. But again Brandon, thank you so much for this video!!!! I will now go buy me a Roku!! lol...

Great video. I’ve had YouTube TV for about one year now and like it very much. I watch it on several of my devices, on my Samsung tv, fire cube, fire stick, Xbox, and Apple TV.. It works well on all of them but the Apple TV and Xbox have one advantage the others don’t have, the little preview window on the top right corner when scrolling through channel guide is “live” with motion were the others only have a static view of what’s on that channel, if you know what I mean. Kinda like how directv does. I’m assuming it’s because the Xbox and Apple TV probably has more computing power. I have not tried it on a Roku or any others, but I really like the live preview window the Xbox and Apple TV gives me while scrolling through the guide, big plus for me!

You miss a major issue, if you are switching from cable, how many remotes a device can have. This seems to be a issue as most only support one remote

Still in my 10 day trial, looking to ditch Dish ... have a Roku (premium, I think), with a 2016 Samsung TV (incompatible with YTTV), and finding the interface bewildering and clunky. Are there better interfaces? Or maybe some setup/usage tips with the Roku?

Xbox remote control does not change channels up or down like a cable tv remote. Why? Am I doing something wrong? In Xbox YouTube tv you have to go to the channel guide to change a channel. You can’t channel surf.

I have two Roku Ultra devices that work great with YTTV. I now have a new Samsung HD Smart TV that already had the YTTV app on it, however, using the large Samsung remote is not easy when navigating YTTV. I may be adding another Roku ultra to my new Samsung TV just simply for the ease of use in YTTV with the Roku remote. Perhaps my next TV will simply be a Roku TV.

I have a Roku stick and the YouTube TV app on my tv, but what internet service provider do people use? Do I also need a modem or router if I have a Roku stick? I still need a provider for internet, right? Who do people use who subscribe to YouTube TV?
