Actually, you don't need to find the TV remote to switch HDMI (when you were mentioning Fire TV Stick couldn't). You can hold the mic button down on the Fire TV remote and say "Switch to HDMI 'X'" and it will switch.

Never knew that you could airplay with the Roku tv. Def a selling point for me, instead of buying the Apple TV box for much more. I’m in the Apple ecosystem but currently use a fire stick as my streaming device. I always wish that it had airplay so I can cast.

Basically if you own everything Apple get a Apple TV shit is actually super clean and the fact it connects to all your devices is super clutch.... that being said if you ain’t a big Apple head get a firestick you can jailbreak it and play super Mario 64 no Nintendo switch required 😂😂

Top 5 streaming sticks? These are basically all of the streaming sticks. I keep trying to leave Roku because the interface is clunky and dated compared to the others, but it is basically the Switzerland of streaming sticks and has pretty much every service available on it, so I end up back on it.

The only negative about the Chromecast is their color choices. I wish they had things other than those pastel colors that stand out like a sore thumb. Everything in the entertainment center and all the remotes are black, grey, or dark wood, and then there is this bright white thing that practically glows in the dark. I really wish they had a black option like they did with the other Chromecasts

If you have an android phone then Chromecast is the way to go. I love it!

i upgraded from a Fire TV Stick to an Apple TV, and i haven't regretted making that choice
everything is much smoother, faster and it has quite a few more apps
(i made that upgrade before watching this video, but i still found it really interesting)

I got the Roku streming stick + and I love it. There is no headphone jack on the remote controle but I can use the Roku android app private listening option and get sound via the headphones linked to my smartphone and there is no lag/delay with the sound. There is a lot of free stuff through the Roku chanel, movies, series etc.. I would recommend it to anyone trying to transform a non-smart tv into a smart tv 🙂

since you provided so much information and clarity, here’s one back I can suggest for you! :) —> When using your Chromecast with Google TV and you’ve got your bluetooth earbuds or headset on… and as you mentioned, “there’s a bit of lag there” = many TV’s (perhaps not the budget varieties; but many major brands) should have an option in the menu under ‘Sound’ or ‘Audio’ settings to adjust the lip sync delay. This is usually represented on screen as a L(-) <|> R(+) Slider style and increments by ms values. If you can find this setting on your TV it might help bring the audio in sync with the picture. (I think it actually buffers the picture to the audio not the audio to the picture, but hey semantics! ). …Shame the ChromeCast doesn’t have that setting onboard itself tho…

But Apple if you pay for Apple TV
Buy Fire stick if you pay for prime.
