RMS Titanic was a British passenger liner which was controlled by the White Star Line. At the time it was a very promising ship, which was built with the best engineering of the time. It is known for its collision with an iceberg on April 15th, 1912 somewhere in the North Atlantic Ocean, on its way to the United States. More than 1500 members went down along with the ship.

WRONG the lead violinist was not called William Thomas Stead, his Name was Wallace Henry Hartley. Right photo wrong name. William Thomas Stead was indeed on the Titanic, he was a British newspaper, who sadly went down with the ship.
