This project has been abandoned for years. Everyone who is saying they can hardly wait for it to be completed, or can’t wait for it to set sail… you will have a very long wait, because it is stopped, and will never be completed.

Everyone!

Last I checked, this project was canceled just like clive palmer titanic.

It was meant to stay in the chinese river and be a hotel.

Lots of places in the ship were changed to be modern cuz barely anyone would like the original rooms these days.

It was bad quality and wasnt built like the titanic at all, and had lots of innacuracies.

This project was nothing to get excited for. It was a cheap knockoff titanic to be used as a cash grab.

Do not think it will set sail or even be completed. It wasnt even gonna have working engines.

I hope it will set sail like the original titanic

The last we heard from Romandisea was in October 2021 when they told the press that they do plan to finish the project no matter what. The project has been on hold since summer 2021.

This is currently a model of the Titanic built on land, the Titanic 2 was temporary canceled or delayed, however I currently heard an update 1 month ago from the time of leaving this comment from several sources and a current video of Clive Palmer saying he is still determined to build the Titanic 2, he said it like this...(I'm 70 I'm going to do it, I'm going to build the Titanic) He may even use his own money to have the Titanic 2 built and he said that the construction will continue in 2025 and it's estimated at the moment to set sail in June 2027. So it's legit he will be eventually be building the Titanic 2, their were several stumbling blocks along the way putting off the construction, first their was issues with trust and agreements between Clive Palmer and the builder's in China, their was conspiracies and suspicion and the COVID-19 pandemic completely put the construction on hold. So far their were 2 delays, this will be his 3rd attempt, they often say that the 3rd attempt at doing something is the (charm). Fingers crossed everyone.

This is the Chinese replica being built for a theme park and will never sail, it is part of an attraction, the project is on hold for hiring more crew and getting more blueprints of the ship but it is still very in progress.
THIS IS A REPLICA FOR A THEME PARK, NOT ACTUALLY GOING TO SAIL.

Abandoned, and not a full replica sadly. I really wish it could be done, but I think this timeless and iconic ship has ironically been lost to time.

Tufu dredge construction. It will hit an ice cube and sink on dry land.

This was being built to be a hotel, not an actual working ship. But it was abandoned.

Don’t worry, there aren’t going to be any icebergs in the way

When completed, it will go down well.

for everyone worried, this project was made by a man named Clive Palmers, some months back he said the project Is going again. Reason for it being abandoned is because he didn't have enough money and was a millionaire at the time. But now is a billionaire. -2024 update btw
