Doesn't matter if Cora is a fictional character, because she represents real little girls that drowned on the titantic. Truly tragic to think about.

I will never get the scene out of my head where a cabin was flooding and a mother was telling her two kids a bedtime story so that they would be asleep when they started to drown 😢

Doesn't matter if she was fictional. That poor girl represented children that sadly lost their lives on the ship.

I have never cried so much in a movie before.
Watching it makes you realise how many people truly died and how horrific it would of been.

Watching this clip all I can see is Cora’s father frantically lifting her up in hopelessness. A couple last few gulps of air. Desperate to save her, knowing he can’t. How many parents endured that very nightmare that night? James Cameron knows how to make a movie and play with your emotions the whole time.

I thought it was already clear that Cora didn't survive as we see a china doll on the ocean floor early on in the movie, when the submersible is first scouting around the wreck of the Titanic. Later on we see the same doll in Cora's arms, which foreshadows what happens to her.

Cora was not real but she had a lot of real kids like her at the Titanic.

I imagine the actress acting as Cora saying "So I put all my acting dotes in making a suffering scream and got all wet and cold for nothing?"

The most heartbreaking scene in my opinion is when Rose is in a white dress walking on thr Titanic and sees everyone who died on the Titanic including Fabrizio, Tommy, Trudy, Helga and she's meeting Jack on the afterlife staircase🥺

Watching the deleted scenes makes it so much more intense. Fabrizio had a whole love affair and you actually watch his love die, beside Rose, before the bow sinks into the ocean.

The first time I watched the film I actually realized she died when I saw her along with all the other passengers that died on the ship when Rose's soul went aboard the wreck to be with Jack.

I remember when first watching it I got really attached to her and loved her little doll she brought with her everywhere. I was really young when I watched the movie so I didn’t fully grasp what happened, but I did notice that at the end of the movie you can see a shot with her doll underwater :(

I remember my sister asked me about Cora. I said she died, because in the scene were Jack was "on the boat, in the waiting for Rose to dance with him, " that 'reunion' scene represented all the people who died. We certainly know that Jack died in the water. We see so many of the poorer people gathered, including the little girl Cora, who never got to grow up.

My poor sis was so sad. We loved that movie. 😢😢😢😢
