I saw an interview with her several years ago. She said the ship broke in half and no one believed her. She was right.

Her Mother was smart by going straight to the deck after she felt the jerk. Saved their lives.

You can clearly see the sadness and anger on her face as she spoke those words

Imagine your daddy telling you to “be good” and not seeing him ever again.

I feel so bad for this woman. Imagine being a little girl on the titanic and you dad tells you to go on the lifeboat to be saved and then he doesn’t come with you because there’s not enough room. I can’t imagine the pain and grief she must go through knowing her dad died and is at the bottom of the ocean. Sounds like a terrifying experience.

This lady is named Eva heart. Her mother begged the father not to go on the ship but the father insisted, Eva was 7, she said her mother begged because she was scared by them saying "God could not even sink the ship", since the father insisted, they went on the boat and the mother would sleep at day and be awake at night. according to Eva "She did just that" and when she heard the bump, Obviously... you heard in the short.

What a beautiful dad story to comfort his child The emotions he had to control to let his daughter not be emotionally ruined She probably would not have lived so long if he had not been so amazing God rest his soul 🙏

So many years later, you can still see the grief on her face as she recounts her memory.

And maybe a little anger, too.

Met Eva at a convention in 1993 I asked her if she’d sign my book, Edith haisman and millvina Dean signed it on the inside cover which was a big photo of Titanic in Southampton Eva asked me if I minded her signing it on the opposite page and turned the cover signing on a different page, well I didn’t mind but found out later she couldn’t stand pictures of Titanic as it was in 1912.

It's painful that this's a true story, but what's more painful is that she kept these memories n all this pain for more than 8 decades, she went through the worst experience in her life, I feel sorry for her!

She was seven years old when the ship sank, and she’s the best Titanic witness I have heard.

Titanic sinking is why they have SOLAS now. Every ship needs to have enough lifeboats for everyone on board.
