it’s so weird how colleges require super professional long entrance essays or whatever the heck

cause they’re literally so fake
using big words doesn’t make you smart, it just shows that you can make an essay convincing

I can actually give an example of a good one. I’m looking to go into cybersecurity and I connected technological freedom to the freedom of driving. I said that driving was a big part of who I am and that I very much value freedom and privacy, which is something I often get from a car ride by myself. Don’t use something that you’re not familiar with, go with something you know well to explain yourself.

(Btw I’m going to a school for cybersecurity and I got into my main school, didn’t get any rejections but I also didn’t apply to all of them)
