Writing about not having anything to write about is a mistake a lot of kids can easily fall into. But this kid's essay is developed and intelligent with genuinely brilliant use of literary devices such as personification and conceit. His writing style is so mature, too. Unlike so many other students who try to write something more advanced, his words flow and dance with each other.

I have this essay idea I’m kinda attached to because it’s kinda super personal and im the only one whose actually experienced this and reflected over the event but the one problem I’m running into is transforming that one experience into a “here’s why you should pick me” ending

Its a well written essay, taking on an average unoriginal premise and brings it alive with creative flare and masterful story telling. Unfortunately it fails to describe much about the applicant beyond the daily struggles of your generic High-schooler. Does impressive craft triumph over character?
