In this video, Ross Hauser, MD discusses some common ear symptoms that can be related to cervical instability, including ear pain, fullness, hearing loss, tinnitus, and sensitivity to sound. Problems with the ears and hearing function may actually be related to the ligaments holding vertebrae together in the neck.

We would love to see how we can help you if you are suffering from neck pain, ear symptoms, or other neurological symptoms without definitive answers. You may have been to numerous specialists trying to address the problem piece by piece. Often, we are able to pinpoint if and how the symptoms may be related to one primary cause.

This is the most genius video!!! I googled to see if there’s a relation between the 2 and I found your video. It was my own personal conclusion that no doctor has ever mentioned before!!!

I wish we have such doctors here in our country who can understand the symptoms and its roots

Excellent way to speak, it feels very comfortable to hear. I normally feel pain with the force of sound from my voice or others.

Sad world that we live in everyone believes that their tinnitus is related to their ear, they’re running around doctor to doctor not knowing that the root causes is in their neck. Again thank you so much for making this informative video

This is extremely painful. As long as I’m upright sitting or walking I’m fine but lying down is a killer. It cranks and is so painful.

One thing that was working for me was to tilt your head sideways with the clogged ear and bring your head down to a low altitude. Whether it’s the bottom of your house or something like that, the low altitude can pop it with time.

I wish this doctor was my doctor. That would really boost my confidence in the American health-care system. This doctor is a good man with good plans for good health.

i’ve been diagnosed with menieres disease. Been having having symptoms since 2015. and i have asymmetrical jaw (sometimes it hurts when i open my jaw). I was told that it has nothing to do with loss of hearing, occasional vertigo, etc. no history of injury that may cause cervical instability. I have seen many doctors already but none of them helped with my problem. i am curious if prolotherapy will help.

I've been dealing with over-sensitive hearing and ringing for 3 yrs. If I even listen to my phone on speakers, the sound is very harsh and ice-picky. When I watch a show or video with the volume low, and there's somebody yelling on screen, it's super obnoxious and harsh.

Loud motorcycles, sirens, and car exhausts are pure torture. Speaking of which, now theres a cool new trend where people make their cars backfire-ON PURPOSE! Great job geniuses. That really helps my condition /s.

Wow - this really does describe me in my right ear (fullness, sounds are too loud, some hearing loss in the low end, just lots of "echo" but no dizziness). The ENT has been doing steroid injections past my eardrum (the last of 3 is tomorrow). But so far they haven't helped at all. When the tinnitus kicks in, I notice sometimes if I turn my head almost 90 degrees it goes away, and then comes back when my head faces forward. But the "echoing" is the big thing. I think the ENT wants to go the Menieres route, but I'm definitely interested in other possibilities!

This could be my problem, when I visited a orthopedist in March 2021, he recommended a massage treatment with a physiatrist, with no good results. Several months later I visited 2 ENT Specialists because I was experiencing a ringing sound in one of my ears (tinnitus), my ears are healthy and Dr. determined that my tinnitus was caused by bruxism (TMJ), this make sense since I spent years using braces in my teeth, and my jaw moved a little bit. In the last several years, my pain focuses in my neck, jaw, shoulder, lower back and sometimes in my head. My jaw makes a Z movement when I open my mouth and a sound in both joints.

As a child I had chronic ear infections and ear aches, they were so painful and frequent that I was in and out of hospitals. I'm a bit older now and have a lot on scar tissue on the inner of my ear, as of right now.i regularly get headaches and the pulsating pain when i hear louder noises. Are these related in anyway?
