Had this done myself a few years back. Out-patient in-office procedure took under 30 mins. I felt some immediate relief that day, and it got much better after a few weeks. I went from years of having my ears blocked for hours multiple days a week to now having my inner ears bug me mildly once or twice a month. It helped me so much

😲... I might need this. I'm constantly having to pop open my ears with, what I believe is a rare technique that I'm not even sure everyone is able to do but it involves pulling the opening open and a yawn with almost a jaw separation.... Only problem is that after a cold the pressure builds up very fast and is more difficult to open up after those days my jaw hurts from trying to release the pressure all day.
I have noticed cough drops help me make the release happen.

I have an ear infection that started in the left ear and has moved to the right ear now making it hard to sleep and hard to eat When I moved my jaw Cause the swelliness near my tragus cartilage and swelling shut of the ear canal, and all my doctor gave me was antibiotic pills, She never brought this procedure to our attention that could have made this go away for me, this is so uncomfortable. I'm in pain and have to take 3 rounds of advil a day to function rather than curl up on my bed cause of the pain.

If it worked ENTs would be doing it like crazy

But it doesnt that eustachian tube will close up and swell up even worse after this procedure..

Not to mention scar tissue

I have pressure in my right ear that wont go away before I finally got a ear infection I kept going to the dr telling them I have a ear infection or something wasnt right they treat me with antibiotics and said o it may be sinus. But it isnt I do have sinus but not that bad that it should mess with my ears. So after that the pressure disappeared then came right back a couple months later. I end up getting sinusitis and a ear infection at the same time go to the dr again got ear drop and antibiotics and was told it was my sinus again. I'm so sick of this crap nothing works i took sinus pills nose spray stem and etc they need to send me to the ear doctor I have an appointment on the 29th we shall see what they say this time.
