Zack Telander. You two would probably have a good podcast together. He's into Olympic lifting, but that could bring more views to your channel too.

I started watching Alex very early like at 15 years old. His emphasis on strength helped me a lot when I was a beginner and even now. He was a meme for a long time but he is very knowledgeable and passionate about lifting.

I love OHP more than horizontal pressing mostly because of the fact that my shoulders feel good.

AD has improved a lot these past years, he wasn't even in my top 10 a few years back, now he's easily in my top 3

Love the video. I’m a huge fan of OHP and I prioritise it over the bench. I actually only do close grip and incline to help with the OHP. My best OHP is 87.5kg for 3x3, singles with 90kg and my CG bench is at 125kg for singles at bw of 72kg

Pete may be natty but his upload frequency is blasting hard. Keep it going Pete!

Well done Pete. I can say that this is what we needed, someone to merge the natty and non natty side of lifting.

Looking forward to a leeman podcast if it happens. Dude was a monster and one of my big early inspirations for lifting along with lilliebridge and obviously Pete

*Various forms of overhead pressing have been one of the best things for my failing discs.*
Logic says everything is pulling the spine and that tissue straight down, gradually destroying it, so exercises that elevate the soft tissue can provide relief and a superficial cure for many years.
Of the guy that does dedicated strength training, he covers the most range of training that I favor. So does Smelly Bell.

Been following since the deadlifts in front of washer/dryer machines haven’t watched you in a bit but this recent content has me back. Really good stuff enjoying the honesty

Love the reaction video. Because you're not focused on creating drama, but rather trying to inform and educate people.

I woulf say a OHP specialisation phase (like a 4-6 week block) will offer huge benefits for your bench _if_ the shoulders, traps etc is a specific weakpoint. Which it most likley will be for a "gymbro" that has only been doing nothing but benching and/or specialised on the bench.

Camera looks great, if you're gunna keep going forward with podcasting and more analysis / reaction content I'd recommend getting a standalone XLR microphone for that crisp audio quality. Congrats on the new channel growth man

this is the 3rd time your channel has been recommended for me to watch.

Can't wait for you and Alex to collab. Dude's very articulate and Pete has some serious wisdom and years in his craft

great points. i've only recently learned that accessory movements done for carryover or some kind of benefit, only really yields positives if you are still training the main movement. i've trained harder variations of movements exclusively and would get weaker at the main movement, i feel partly due to technique rust but i think also due to just not handling absolute load in a while.
