My partner has Antisocial Personality Disorder - or ASPD - which society better knows as ‘sociopaths.’ I am a diagnosed narcissist. And ironically, him and I are in a very loving, healthy relationship.

I love watching your love for each other. I know it’s not the same. But I’ve found my partner both ASD/ADHD. I just know how great it is to finally find someone who understands you and although they inspire you to be your best version just love you the way you are. I didn’t think anyone could love me like he does. For me. I wouldn’t want him any other way. Just him. Awesome and scary at the same time. ❤

I love that you're posting your story and what you've learned and similarities between certain personality disorders I don't know much about these personality disorders but I know that they're always shown in such negative light when in all reality we're all people that have gone through severe trauma and then your guys's case it led to neurological differences but like you were saying with work and holding each other accountable and knowing your triggers etc you can heal from certain things in order to guide yourself to be a better person and I just have so much respect for the both of you thank you for sharing your story

I really appreciate these videos. I have BPD which of course comes with plenty of stigma. But, the way people with NPD and ASPD are represented is even worse in mu opinion. People immediately assume you are less than human. This is just not the case.

That last bit makes me think of As Good As It Gets with Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt. Jack Nicholson's character has foot-in-mouth disease (always seems to say the worst things, and offends nearly everyone within minutes of meeting them). But, in a moment of vulnerability, he admits to Helen Hunt's character that he is imperfect and flawed and says almost without thinking, "You make me want to be a better man." From a character who always says the worst thing at the worst time, he says the most perfect thing at exactly the right moment.
I usually think Rom-Coms are 🤢🤮 but As Good As It Gets is a good movie. Never thought about it, but maybe Jack Nicholson's character could possibly show traits of NPD.

I believe my last ex had ASPD. He also had a severe drinking problem. He was also very intelligent and we sometimes would have a great time together. I think he was too chaotic for me though and we went our separate ways. I've decided to stay single and now any time i am attracted to someone i see that as a red flag!!!

@KyleeRackam i would love to be able to yalk with you. I have some questions about uts and ur man diagnosis. Specifically things done as children? Obviously i know u cant diagnosis people im just trying to see if my little might have one og these and as u know anyo soical cant be diagnosed until yhere adults but if i can give mylittle as much support as possible well thats always a win.
