These are not "extreme" frugality tips. They are just good basic frugality tips that any frugality enthusiast would give you.

Coupons are for name brand products which, even discounted, are still far pricier than generic

My taxes alone are 250 a month plus 120 for electric and heating fuel was ungodly expensive this winter. This is not doable anywhere I know of.

What about a place to live...either a mortgage or rent each of which would have expenses like homeowners insurance or renter's insurance.

Meat and protein in my area never has a coupon. Coupons are usually for processed foods.

Nothing said about light, gas, and water bills? Do without, go off grid. or what? My bill is usually half of the $500 a month you are planning to use.

Impossible. So ridiculous. I'm also out. Waste my time.

This contained useful hints, all of which I have heard before. I didn't really see how it showed living on a budget of $500 a month. Wish you would have been more specific.

I live alone and my only social life is going out for lunch or coffee or a movie apart from gym and dance classes. I regularly thrift shop and cut back in other areas but loneliness is aweful.

As soon as I run out of an item I tell Alexa to add to my shopping list, so I won't forget.

Consuming less food, water, electricity, fuel, home supplies; not buying store brand, not buying anything, and just spending on food and housing can save you money.

Lesson learned, READ comments first, this is as they say (and one should look at the sponsor, Investor Weekly, a complete waste of time, nothing that any article has, best videos show people actually living, they don’t talk about housing utilities etc.
