2024 Hyundai i30 Sedan Premium (car review)

Hyundai’s i30 sedan is razor sharp in appearance and almost stands completely separate from its hatchback sibling. The range received a facelift for 2024, with the Premium variant scoring refined front lights and grille.

It doesn't quite score the full horizon light bar some other models have scored, but the rear lights incorporate the ‘H’ strip. The striking Hyundai design involving creases and the ‘Z’ shape down the side, but in this trim, it manages to blend in, and not stand out.

We put it down to the colour, with our example in Meta Blue being a light shade that only comes on the Elite and Premium offerings. It's safe, which is fine, but there's also Abyss Black, Amazon Grey, Fluid Metal, Intense Blue and Ultimate Red, or Atlas White.
