The most impressive thing about this is that it’s a group public appearance by The Eagles in which they didn’t try to kill each other.

One of the most talented bands of all time. No Doubt About It.

Drumming and singing at the same time is quite difficult. I tip my hat to Don Henley for being so good at both.

A group that’ll never be duplicated again. From their story telling in their music, to their harmonizing, to their musical playing. No question one of the greatest guitar playing was in the song with Felder and Walsh playing it out. Forever The Eagles.

Rest Easy Glenn.

Glen Frey and Don Henley met while touring with Linda Ronstadt. They shared hotel rooms on the tour and as a result, the Eagles were born.
I'd love to see your reaction to Linda Ronstadt.

The first and only time all seven guys who played with the Eagles were together.

Glad I got to see this before Don Henley takes it down

Henley and Frey were good musicians and great song writers. Walsh was a good songwriter and great musician. Timothy B. Schmidt filled out the harmonies wonderfully. But Don Felder was the man that made it all magic.

Do you know 7 Bridges Road by them? It is partially a capella and then the band plays. The harmony is delicious!

I just did a search and it looks like you've never reacted to anything by Natalie Merchant. She has one of the most beautifully unique voices of the last thirty years. Could you react to something by her please? Perhaps the song "Wonder" or "Break Your Heart"?

You simply cannot pause during a guitar solo.

The Eagles are notoriousl blockers. I wonder if they will allow this to stay up? Such a shame, because this is a great analysis and a lot of young people may not know the Eagles.

Individually, each member is/was a master in his own right. Together, they are far more than the sum of their individual talents. They are LEGENDARY!

“So much joy, so much joy, for me right now”
Yes! 75 now. I been an Eagles fan since 72 when I first heard Witchy woman. I’ve watched the Hotel California guitar solo probably a thousand times. Every time I hear it it’s like the first time. Love your excitement on this reaction!

It is a cardinal sin to cut into the middle of the finest guitar duet ever

This is my number #1 greatest rock song of all time. I first heard this song back in the 70's as a young man. I listened to this song hundreds of time and have never grown tired of it. I love your enthusiasm for the music. Nice to see a young lady who gets it. So much great music from that era. Thanks for putting a smile on an old geezer.

If you're a Hotel California fan, I can't recommend the Live Acoustic 1994 version highly enough. "Hotel California"-Unplugged! You have to hear "Seven Bridges Road" as well!

The head leaning back and you dancing as the heart of the guitar solo kicks in speaks volumes of your love for music. The appreciation for such great musicians and singers is why I keep coming back.

The Eagles have been one of my favorite bands since first hearing this song in 1976. When they broke up in the early 80's after the Long Run album, I never thought I'd see them again, but their music has always been on my playlist. But then in 1994 they reconnected, and launched the Hell Freezes Over tour with the first concert being here in Honolulu, Hawaii, at Aloha Stadium. Needless to say, I was at field level directly in front of the stage. The lights came up, revealing Henley on the drums, and Felder, Frey, Walsh, & Schmidt, perched on tall stools at the front of the stage. They launched into a long intro building up to this song. It was great. I agree with you play with precision but in a way that flows freely. Their vocal dynamics and harmonies only add to a sound that is very pleasing to the ear. BTW....loved your perspectives on their musicianship. It's gratifying to see young people who appreciate great music from my generation.
