When you see Fil smiling as he presents this, you know how much he adores Meisner's work on this.

Randy's humble "Thank You" after he sings this song gets me every time. Randy owned this song and no one will ever sing it like he did.

I learned more about music in the last 20 minutes than my previous 73 years.
RIP Randy

The isolation of the voices, I feel, reveals the beauty of this song even more so. It's breathtaking.

Now that I am approaching 70, videos like this make me miss my youth more than ever. My generation was surrounded by great music.

When Randy was having a good night, there was nobody better.

Hey, Don Henley, leave this one alone from your blocking. Show some grace. Randy deserves this great tribute. It doesn't take anything away from you or Eagles.

Randy had one of those rare unmistakable, unable to duplicate, and unremarkably flawless voices. I've loved this song since the very first time I heard it as a child in the 70's. I loved Randy, RIP to one of the greatest legends who didn't know his own worth. Incredible.

The song is, I think, the best example of the wonderful Eagles' harmonies

There is nothing better in this world than Randy singing Take it to the limit ❤ RIP Randy, you sweet, gentle man. My favourite ❤

Best video of Randy's voice. I had the pleasure of seeing the group twice in the early 70's. The group harmony is very close to the Bee Gees and they were masters of Harmony. Randy's voice made the Eagles Fly higher than they ever expected.

I was heartbroken when Randy left the Eagles, and I am heartbroken at his passing. I always loved him and never forgot him. He was already an established musician by the time the Eagles began, having played in Rick Nelson's Stone Canyon Band, and Poco. Randy's voice was that of an angel. Everyone should also take a listen to his solo albums too. I will forever remember Randy's beautiful harmonies as well. Thank you so much Fil. I truly appreciate your wonderful tribute to Randy Meisner. RIP Randy🎸🌹

Saw Randy & Eagles do this in concert in '76 at Minneapolis concert. This song was obviously a highlight of their show as they saved it for the encore. I was waiting for it throughout the concert and it was so gratifying to finally hear it, and see Randy sing, at the end. A cherished memory. So good to be an old guy and to have witnessed so much great music throughout the the late '60s and early '70s.

Whatever happens in this World, "Take It To The Limit" will always be Randy Meisner's song. The man was just pure vocal talent. I saw The Eagles live in 1977 at the old Empire Pool, Wembley on their Hotel California Tour and they played this song during the show. Made the hairs stand up on my wallet! And all the vocals were done without in - ear monitors because that technology didn't exist.
I don't think we will see or hear another like Randy. Thank you Fil for showing us why this performance is so good. Thank you Randy Meisner, may you Rest In Peace sir.

It's not just Randy's ability to hit the notes. It's the TONE of his voice ... the SOUND of his voice. His voice was very unique, rememberable, soft and warm ... Like you just want to give it big hug because its just so pure and unassailing. Truly a treasure in any band, but when coupled with the Eagles ... well ... the magic is real.

Saw the Eagles during this tour. Randy brought down the house with this song. The loudest audience response I've ever heard at any concert I attended. Perfect.

Before there was Autotune, there was talent. Simple as that.
