The replicas have come a long way and are now very similar to the authentic pairs. Most people look for Bargains when buying their designer items so they buy used from sites like Mercari, eBay and OfferUp. They get good deals but sometimes are not able to tell if the pairs they are about to purchase are authentic. Hi! Thanks for the video! I have almost these exact glasses (round pair), bought from a trustworthy source. But I noticed that the serial number & ‘made in Japan’ is starting to rub off on both arms. Has this happened to anyone else whose glasses are authentic? For context, I wear them almost daily and have had them for about a year. They are a little scuffed and ‘loved’ at this point but I’ve never heard of the number rubbing off

They can do that frame because it is so Simple. I just had a fake like that sold to me on poshmark. A lot cheaper metal, wirey, it will always be a little lighter. Think like the fakir catch the fakir. for gucci it is good to learn all the case colors and combinations helps you weed out fakes at a snap of a finger. Text on the Case is Bigger, fatter letters

@gogetterscartel Do the gucci velvet sunglass cases come in different sizes? I got a second pair of gucci shades and the velvet case was slightly larger than the one that I already have? Is one of them fake or have you seen different size cases?

I imagine they are real since I got them from the Gucci website. I aint taking no chances of knock offs which are flooding the markets .
