So this week in Destiny 2, Bungie released The Final Shape which brought with it some NEW Exotic Class Items for Prismatic! They also released Exotic Class Item Ornaments which I do not recommend buying if you are pairing it with the new seasonal ornaments! Personally think Bungie should allow use to use our legendary ornaments on these exotic class items.
I know they are exotic, but these do not have a unique identity tied to their perks. So it wouldn't be bad in a pvp setting. What do you all think?

You're absolutely right. Noone can even make the argument of pvp balance of knowing what exotics an enemy is running because players who care about that stuff will just inspect you anyway, notswap is active, and the exotic class items aren't that powerful on the pvp side of things to begin with because of how they did the perks. Honestly this is just bungie not letting us shader exotic guns all over again: the tech is in the game, we can see it, and it would hurt literally noone to let us do it

Each role of these class items is different, so there is no telling who's using what in pvp. So, might as well allow transmog.

These class items are rough to look at. Sometimes, less is more. If they were more sleek, it would work, imo.

They should bring back the speaker class items from destiny 1 and make them transmogs for these exotic class items.

No offense to the artist but the exotic cloaks are ugly AF. Please let us transmog them. Fashion is the true end game. This makes me not want to use Prismatic at all.

I’m going to just say it. In my opinion virtually all the armour designs lately have been bad. I don’t know who’s telling the artists this stuff looks good. It reeks of “don’t criticise that person because they’re easily triggered” culture…

ornaments already destroy the credibility of "we cant let you transmog exotics off because of visibility"
the only reason we cant is purely because they want to sell us better ornaments via eververse

If they want to make it clear you're wearing an Exotic class item they should give your character a permanent effect whilst you're wearing it, so you can transmog it. A circular or triangular halo would do the trick in my opinion, with a glow that changes to match the shader applied

Normally im not the fancy shmancy type of Hunter, but that Ornament does actually speak to me, which is why I'll probably make some sort of caped Wizard-y Hunter.
I wonder how it will look with the Halloween Wizard outfits that are coming to the game
