Not seeing anywhere in the video any kind of explanation on how the title makes sense

BMW tech here, i drive both of these back to back almost daily-
The engine and suspension are a lot smoother compared to the pre lci.
We still can’t get used to the new climate controls sometimes we need to turn the fan speed down to listen for a noise and it feels like 10 extra steps.
The new seats, similar to in the G70s don’t feel like leather anymore, way too much venting.
Besides that, we customers that go from prelci to lci (that also can get used to the technology) absolutely love the lci.
Also i’ve personally seen maybe 50 100, 000+ miles 40i’s so reliability id say 8/10.

I have the 23, they gave me a loaner car for 24, it’s not the power or the interface it was more than that, the suspension is better and also the acceleration is slightly faster. I would say yes the difference is there but I got my x5 brand new at 58k because of the release of the 24. The new one would cost me 70k and 12k is the reason why. 12k is a huge difference on your monthly payment. The 24 is not a disappointment.

It seems tastes differ, I don't see the advantage of having a robust stick instead of button when you have automatic transmission. When automatic, you use it rarely, when starting and stopping. I see why it is the way it is in manual transmission where you have to work with it many times during the ride, but in automatic tr., it just takes up space, IMO.

I noticed the X5 m50i lose 35 to 40% value in 2 years is that not the sweet spot got purchasing rather than lease?

I agree, when you are buying a luxury SUV there is no room for compromise, like color options etc . A factory build is way better . Mine took 3 weeks, got my favorite color, interior . I even optioned 4 zone climate, ventilated and massage front seats

I am pretty sure you don't know what your taiking about in terms of the third row option for the 2024 x5 as its still available in some markets. plus changes to the x5 always comes with a price you know. the manufactures can't just update a model like a facelift and then keep the same price, and given how substantial the updates is for the 2024 bmw x5 LCI compared to the prefaacelift I think the jump in price is reasonable. also with the gear shifter nowadays people shift gears with paddle shifters and if your car was a manual gear box it would use a gear lever, but since all x5 comes with 8 speed autos theirs no point it keeping the big gear leaver that takes up space.

I dont know about the Video. It is a litle bit critical. The new X5 does make around 75 miles in elctric Mode not 39. Thats NOT correct.
Than, the suspension is pumpy because they do not have an air suspension and 22 inches tires. The suspension on the 2018-2023 BMW X5 is I think the same.
Every new X5 ist better than the older G05.
They have more horsepower looks better inner space...
When you want the real leader seat, then configure it. But these is all the same as in the older X5 G05
That is my mind about these.

Coming from a BMW/Rolls Driver since 2023, the X5 is worth the upgrade. There are quite a few inaccuracies in the video so I recommend doing your own research.

I traded from a 2013 to the M Sport and I love the display, and the Seats, better hands down. So I don't agree. I have had a 2009, 2013, and now 2024. Interior is amazing, again, not sure I agree with you even with synthetic. But I agree, it should be leather with a 70k tab for it. The gear selector lever, I will give you that one. This is the downer to me. I would have loved to have the shifter like my 2013. I never had the 3rd row so I don't care about that. :) Lastly, I don't really like the engine shut off at every stop. It is light, not greatly noticed but when you take foot off the brake it is noticeable. I don't like and and could love to stop or get rid of it.

Click baited again! Good grief, that sucks doing that to us. Anyway, certainly agree with how bad the new shift paddle thingy is and no climate controls on the dash. And the crappy lower front end looks like a whale shark coming at you. Won't give up our X5 M50i for the new generation X5 anytime soon.

So you would recommend the 2023 X5 better?

What’s special about remote start?
Mist vehicles offer that feature since 2018.

The video game dashboard is a non- starter for me. I’d pay extra for a somewhat traditional set-up.

Do any of the X5's have ventilated I tried building both XDrive40i and M60i and no where do I see ventilated seats as an option by itself or in any of the packages. Am I blind and only see it in the M Competition? I'm looking to get rid of my 2020 Model Y and must haves are air suspension, ventilated seats.

BMW USA is selling the 2025 model year now. So, I guess we don't have to worry about the 2024 model year anymore.

My money factory last year for my x3M was .00220, so that .0018 is good rn, and that lease payment you came up with isn’t bad. Nowadays car notes are higher! You’re going to pay over a 1K for a car note if you’re not putting money down. You are going to pay over 600 a month for like a mainstream decent car today. I build my x3M from the factory, didn’t put no money down and got a 1k from bmw, and my payments are a little slightly over $1000 a month

Switching to a new X5 intergenerationally is usually a waste of money. The X5 does not retain resale value well, and if you don't keep it at least 5 or 6 years you get soaked a few grand easy.

I was wanting to purchase an x5 but keep my car in warrantee. Is it much more cost effective to purchase a 1 or 2 year old car at low miles vs buy or lease a new or used one? I would prefer to not waste money as the goal while gettin in a car I’ll enjoy and feel I got value for my money.

I actually would go for the new BMW X5 xDrive 50e
