The other thing you can do is dip the wire in solder paste, I find it easier than using flux and solder separately

Look I understand the importance of the Flux but just buy a better quality solder wire that contains Flux already with good amount and also practice more

Those holes are actually meant for the wires themselves to go through and twist them tight in the back
