I like that you presented the stretching of space by 1000x from 380, 000 years to 13.8 billion years, because in my mind it adds validity to Einstein's theory that space can stretch, especially around a mass, like a planet.
This in turn adds validity to his theory that gravity is not a function of a force per se...not another force, but rather a consequence of space bending around a mass.

Could it be the other way round, and the photons are forming the expansion of space? The very large is normally based on the very small. This would give us more than just a mathematical link between atomic physics and cosmology. Dirac’s large number hypothesis would then imply one universal process from the smallest particle to the largest know time line.

Great lecture, really appreciate this direct explanation

Mr. Professor it is mind blowing. Does it mean that the speed of light has changed? Since the distance extends?

Hmmm, how would you calculate the volume change of the universe? Isn't the observable universe supposedly the surface of a 4 dimensional structure? Might make an interesting video...

what is the Fluton ?
Fluton is tiny black hole formed after nuclei reaction take place

so will photons keep streaching until they become straight line? then what will they become? how many billion years it takes for them to lose their wave properties?

So if you literally measured it, you wouldn't be able to tell, because your ruler would have stretched along with space-time. There would be no way for us to be able to tell without...calculations. Also, if photon energy decrease when the wavelength increases, will all this stretching eventually result in the heat death of the Universe.(?) Also, I'm thinking that space-time has bending abilities of it's own, independent of an object with mass. Mass is just one of the things that interacts with it and sets it off. Tell me your thoughts on that. Since I have no formal training to keep crazy ideas in check.

I wonder how can you calculate the size of the expansion of the universe if the wavelength of the photon expands within the space and also the distance the photon has to travel grows, thus more energy get lost which also add up to the wavelength..

One must also pay attention to what he is saying some times the dots in his calculations don't show well on screen, I had trouble with his math until I relistened and realize it was 2 point 726 instead of 2726!

Could you commend on the fact that energy is not conserved due to the cosmic redshift of the photons? Wonderful episode series btw
