Do you have Rib Flare!?😱🩻

Don’t worry, you don’t have oversized lungs, you just need better awareness of your spinal position. Specifically, your low back.

A rib flare (and anterior pelvic tilt) position are commonly cause by too much lumbar lordosis (curvature). This simple exercise can help you build the awareness of your neutral spine position.

I think I have rib flare. My ribs are always expanded, its especially noticeable if I lay down. I want to say it might be from diaphragm breathing and sucking in my stomach my entire life because I was self conscious of being a little bigger than others. Now that I'm at a good weight, shirts still look tight up top and loose in the stomach area because of it ☹️

As a surfer I've always thought that my ribs were its way, flared, due to surfing, but watching your video has give me a total diferent approach to this " issue", obviosuly surfing posture create a little pressure on my ribs, but I guess, please give me your advice, once I do your exercise all will improve?? You say certain time doing this easy technic to see results, you'd say 6 months or a whole year?

When you say maintain a flat back position, do you mean neutral, or are you actually imprinting the lumbar spine into the ground? Thanks in advance.

I have mild pectus excavatum i think my ribcage is abnormal shaped. My thoracic spine is flat/ dishing. Rib tend to flare. Clavicles are assymetric too with right one popping out more. This makes me insecure but no major issues with health. Is there a fix for this? I'm too mild to have a surgery.

I tried many of those exercises but nothing seems to work. I also don't really understand how I'm supposed to breathe. Do I have to push my belly out or press my ribs to the side?
