This is so exciting, never knew you could fix this. Always believed that I was born with an injured rib cage or something in that line. Thank you for this knowledge sir!

Could I just say the execution of this video and it's format is how all medical/exercise videos should be. Concise information with demonstrations and delivered with a sense of care.

I honestly didn’t realize that I had a rib flare, mostly because I didn’t know that the ribs can flare out. It’s been like this for years now, and I’m excited to start to improve this

Didn’t think this would help but it did! I’ve had an asymmetrical ribcage for years and never knew what caused it, after only a couple minutes of this exercise they look more symmetrical!

I’m an osteopath. This is some good advice. I’d stick with the softer fixed point. Anytime there’s a pain response in the body it turns on the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight). Softer, slower changes over a long timeframe will be more effective. There’s also lots of plexus (nerve bundles) in that area. If you aggravate them you’ll be irritating the structures those nerves supply.

came across this by accident but I have this issue and didn't even know I could help it. This was so helpful and looks like it will even help other alignment issues. Thank you!

This video needs to be the first to pop up. I watched 5 others, this hands down is the best! My back released, my neck is relaxed. My left quadriceps have never felt this freeing.

After losing over 250 lbs I noticed I had a rib flair. This is the best, most informative and helpful video I’ve found on this subject. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge to help others. Subscribed❤

It’s weird how vague a lot of the other rib flare correction vids I looked up are. Thank you for making one that’s so clear, concise, and to the point!

i'd like to add that i found that if you don't have a ball or anything, you can tuck your arm under and place your flat palm on the area of the flared rib area and apply light/moderate pressure (whatever feels most comfortable for you) and follow the same steps you provided.

i feel like this is very common for some of us who have pectus excavatum. great video

I have been trying this with an 8lb ball and I have to honestly say Thank you. This actually works. I always flare out on the left side during the summer months due to my excessive hiking and such. After the first 2 days of trying this technique, I have noticed a huge difference. I no longer see the "long shadow" when under the light. I am also seeing the other side of the rib cage, which wasn't the case a couple of days earlier. And breathing feels more "fuller". Great video. Thanks again.
