Another good question would be: Do they stand a chance against Vader?
I guess he would survive, then he would be chased down. Sidious would become angry because he starts to worry after Vader destroys all the troops he send on him.
Then Vader would recruit his own "Army" to destroy the Empire.

Vader would upgrade his suit because he would have no replacement suits and he would design it himself. He also would be devastated because he lost everything because of that man & now he turned the Empire against him.
Since he knows some of the secrets, he used to enter star destroyers and grow his own army.

Sidious lived in paranoia due to how he betrayed his Master so he ganked all his apprentices, Maul just had a greater hatred to survive.

I think, one possible new apprentice, would be Luke skywalker… if he turned to the dark side and let vader run away (improbable) than sidius could execute this order…. (Also in case vader injured luke and escape)

I honestly think this was the dumbest moments of palpatine I know he wanted contingency plans in place in case vader ever betrayed him and while that’s smart he made it extremely obvious to vader and it made vader want to betray him more and more he ultimately was planning for a betrayal he would create which later happened in return of the Jedi while luke was the turning point I think the fact that palpatine planned to replace vader and basically told him several times gave vader more of a reason to betray him in the end like he even flat out tells luke to kill him and replace vader palpatine is supposed to be one of the smartest people but this was just plain stupidity to me
