I think this comic really helped to explain Vader’s conflicted state of mind in ROTJ given that it’s hinted that he gave up trying kill his master at that point and became more submissive to him.

I love how palpatine wasn’t even mad, just maybe mildly annoyed. Killed Vader’s weapon and then said “come see some cool shit”
And then dunked on him.
