The best way is to go silent. But if you wanna engage with them, just laugh at what they say, they’ll cut the call themselves and you won’t be stressing yourself 😂 After 1.5 years, the narc still gives me same false promise every week, that now he will not be selfish anymore and fix things😂. I don’t yell or argue anymore, I just make fun of him, and he hates that and cuts the call

I like to see people genuinely smile! Half smiles indicate to me an insincerity which is characteristic of psychopathy. However seriousness is a straight and forward respect of boundaries and should not be confused with a narcissistic personality trait. Reactions can be very interesting to watch : the smile of an enjoyable conversation or the reaction you see after helping someone. You will know the difference because a genuine smile will have a full range of motion. Narcissistic abuse depletes your general feeling of well being and leaves a PTSD like residue in its victims. Be sure to do good deeds to make others (not narcissists) feel happier and heal from the bondage!

I always want to be good for business, that is not why I am here. Unless I messed it, you and this narcissist good/bad or indifferent have some sort of life together because you share a child. You and share a product of your love. Where do you place that?
